Mark Davis leaving DFJ Gotham to join start-up Internet Company
November 10, 2010………….DFJ Gotham announced today that Mark Davis, Senior Associate, will be leaving to join a new start-up company as Co-Founder and CEO. “Mark has been with us for four years – full-time since graduating from Columbia Business School. He has made a significant contribution to us over the last several years and while we will miss him here at DFJ Gotham, we expect him to do well and we’ll remain close,” said Ross Goldstein, Managing Director and Co-Founder of DFJ Gotham.
“Working at DFJ Gotham has been a great experience,” Davis said. “I appreciate the opportunity that the DFJ Gotham team gave me and wish them continued success.”
“From the day Mark walked in the door he has displayed a deep passion for the start-up community and for assisting young CEOs in building successful companies. He’s been a CEO before and it’s no surprise that he’s decided to throw his hat in the ring and take on the CEO role once again,” added Danny Schultz, also a DFJ Gotham Managing Director and Co-Founder.
DFJ Gotham will be speaking with candidates to join the firm in an Associate position in the coming months.
